Delivery Policy
This Delivery Policy sets out the rules of delivery of products and should be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
- 1. DELIVERY LOCATIONS
1.1 We deliver to the following locations
1.1.1 Main delivery areas – England, Scotland and Wales.
1.1.2 Surcharged areas – Offshore, Highlands and Islands.
1.1.3 Eire, Channel Islands and Europe.

These prices are applicable to consignments weighing up to a maximum of 20Kg. If the total consignment weight exceeds 20Kg, the Seller will inform the Buyer of the additional delivery costs and a written confirmation will be required to proceed with the order.
2.2. Charges relating to delivery to surcharged areas (Offshore, Highlands and Islands), Eire, Channel Islands and Europe will be advised separately by the Seller prior to despatch. This will be payable before despatch of goods.
2.3. There is an automatic £10 + VAT delivery surcharge on all fire extinguishers.
- 3. ORDER DESPATCH
3.1. Orders received by 2pm will be despatched the same day. Orders received after 2pm will usually be despatched the next day. This service is based on working days (Monday to Friday) and excludes all public holidays.
3.2. Despatch of orders is subject to stock availability and credit control.
3.3. Once despatched, goods to the main delivery areas are usually delivered the next working day; goods to surcharged areas are usually delivered in 2-3 working days; goods to Eire, Channel Islands and Europe are usually delivered in 2-5 working days, depending on the destination country.
3.4. Alternatively, goods can be collected from our Trade Counter, subject to stock availability.
- 4. DELIVERY
4.1. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Seller, delivery of Goods will take place by the normal route to the address as indicated on the Buyer’s order in accordance with the provisions of the Delivery Policy.
4.2. The Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for Delivery.
4.3. The Seller shall not in any event be held liable for any damage or loss, either indirect or consequential, suffered or alleged to have been suffered by the Buyer caused by or arising out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date.
4.4. The Seller cannot accept liability for loss in transit or damage. Complaints of loss or damage must be notified to the Seller within 24 hours of delivery.
4.5. All our couriers hold records of proof of delivery for 3 months. Therefore, we cannot accommodate requests for proof of delivery later than 3 months from the date of invoice.
4.6. All deliveries will require a signature as proof of delivery. Should the Buyer or Buyer’s representative be unavailable to sign for the delivery, the courier company will leave a card. A second attempt at delivery will be made. If nobody is available to sign the second time a final card will be left. If within 24 hours the courier company is not contacted by the Buyer to arrange a re-delivery or collection the goods will be returned to the Seller. In this case, the invoice will be credited with the exception of any delivery and handling charges.
- 5. RISK & OWNERSHIP
5.1. Ownership will be passed to the Buyer upon the following:
5.1.1 Delivery or collection of the Goods or where the Buyer fails to take delivery at the agreed time when the delivery was attempted; and
5.1.2 Receipt of full and cleared payment in respect of the order.
Until such time as ownership in the Goods passes to the Buyer, the Seller is entitled at any time to require the Buyer to return them. If the Buyer defaults, the Seller is entitled to proceed with legal action to recover the Goods or to recover the monies owed.
