CEF Grays were asked by their customer, Da-Call Electrics, to support them with an installation of a Fire Alarm system at Turing House School in Hampton. Due to the nature of the project, the strict deadlines and the potential difficulties that could arise, STS were requested to support the branch and its customer with additional resource, gained through their sub-division Safetech Systems, to complete the works on time and to the correct standard.
It was agreed that a mixture of analogue addressable and wireless devices (manufactured by Apollo Fire Detectors Ltd) together with a panel (manufactured by Advanced Electronics Ltd) would be used in the design that STS completed and verified.
STS supported the installation from start to finish with the following:

⇒ Client (end user) liaison
⇒ Fire Alarm design incl. certification
⇒ Supply of required equipment
⇒ Supporting installer with guidance through installation
⇒ Full commissioning incl. certification
The site was left with an approved, working Fire Alarm system and fully meeting the end client’s requirements.
