The RTE-CIR is an externally rated infrared exit switch. Activated with a wave of the hand, the switch’s sensing distance is adjustable between 3-10cm, allowing activation without direct contact with the device. This is ideal for environments concerned with hygiene and general high traffic areas such as hospitals, public buildings etc. Coupled with the IP66 rating it’s a great solution for touchless activation and external environments.
The RTE-CIR can be connected directly to an access control device thanks to its built in time delay, or used as an exit button input. The bi-coloured LED indicator provides visual verification to the user.
